West highland white Terriers Thank you to the society for inviting me and to the lady that looked after us judges with a lovely lunch. Thank you also to my steward who kept things running smoothly Puppy Dog/Bitch 2/(1) 1st. Noyce’s Maxula Sound Reflection, bitch, 7 month old baby at her first show, nice head and correct eye, good ear placement, good shoulders, short back, correct angulation at the rear, would like to see a harsher coat but this is likely to improve with age , a bit reluctant on the move as she was a bit shy. Best Puppy Junior Dog/Bitch 0 entries Post Graduate Dog/Bitch 1/(0) 1st. Noyce’s Forever Friends De New Gryffindor At Maxula (imp esp), bitch, 2 year old bitch of correct size, nice shaped head with good eye and ear, would have liked to see a bit more pigmentation. Good shoulders going into a nice level back, good tailset. Moved well coming and going. Reserve Best of Breed Open Dog/Bitch 2/(0) 1st. Griffith’s Ch. Karamynd Guilded Lily, nearly two year old bitch who I have admired from the ringside on two occassions and caught my eye then, it was great to establish that what the eye had seen was confirmed by my hands going over her. Nice shaped head with correct eye and correct earplacement, lovely correct shoulderplacement and length of upper arm, which makes for a correct westie front, level short back, correct tailset, correct angulation at the rear for the breed. Moved correct with reach and drive covering ground as required by the standard. Best Of Breed. 2nd. Bradbury’s Lizandycris Misschieves At Fourastay, 3 year old bitch that I also liked, correct head and ears, good shoulders, level back, correct tailset, bit narrow behind, moved well, unfortunate to meet 1st in the class.
