I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge the Smooth & Wire Fox Terriers at their Premier Open Show. What a fabulous run show and great hospitality. Thank you also to my stewards, John & Abbey who kept everything running smoothly. They made my job so much easier. Thank you to the WFTA for sponsoring the BOB & BPIB classes and for all the exhibitors for their fabulous entry. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and there were some really lovely dogs. I was spoilt for choice.

WIRE FOX TERRIER

P (2) 1 Carson & Howard, Mrs S & Mrs C – Panda Spike at Travella – Nearly 10 month old dog pup. Nice neck into good lay of shoulders. Good head & dark eyes. Neat feet. Level top line with enough behind his tail. Good dentition. Nice hard coat. Didn’t carry his ears to his advantage. 2Murphy, Ms A K – Ruxleywyre Diva – Pretty bitch. Lovely head. Carried her ears well. Lay of shoulders not as good as 1. Nice tail set. Good dentition. Not in best coat & condition & a bit unsettled. J (1) 1 (BP) Doyle, Mrs S & Mrs A – Mia Bella at Minervina – Lovely bitch nearly 1 year old. Nice head & ears. Good shoulder placement. Nice front. Would maybe like a little more behind the tail. Hard coat. Good movement. Presented & handled well. PG (1) 1 (RBB) Deusmann, Hughes & Ford, Ms B, Mr D J & Ms L – Alkinra Jazz it Up - Lovely young dog presented in good coat & condition. Lovely tail set with good amount behind the tail. Level topline & short back. Head long & lean with lovely dark eyes. Well carried ears. Good front & rear assembly. Good movement and very well handled.

O (5) 1 (BOB) Schoneberg, Mr F W – Alpha V D Schonenbergen (ATC AZ85284DEU) - Lovely short backed dog. Great outline & shape. Good spring of ribs. Tail set well on top with plenty behind the tail. Lean head. Good ear carriage & dark eyes. Good dentition. Wouldn’t want him any bigger.Coat in hard condition & very well presented. 2 Ford & Burton, Ms L & Mr D – Selvina Isadora – Nicely marked bitch with lovely head. Carried ears well. Dark eyes. Good bone and spring of ribs. Nice front & rear assembly & good tail set. Moved well. In lovely condition & very well presented.3 Harrison, Mr A – Vixenview Tina.
