I would like to thank the committee for
inviting me to judge their show and for all the hard work that must have
gone in to drumming up such a great entry in the current climate.

bl/br. He has a clean muzzle housing big white teeth,
distinct stop and a dark eye.
Straight front with adequate

for age. Moved well for a youngster..
-
Johnson

with white markings. He has a decent head
with good strength to muzzle. He

Price’s Little Beau Gest. 13mth bl/br who is not
overdone in any department. Nice head piece with clean
muzzle, big teeth correctly placed and the neatest of
rose ears. Good front and feet. Good depth of brisket
and short coupled. Would have preferred a tad more rib
and a bit more ‘get up n go’ as he looked bored. Moved
well
-
Hanslow’s Toffeestaff Hoggy Pog At Donmarlyn.
Stronger all round than 1. Ample bone, rib and brisket.
Feet could be tighter. Short coupled. Preferred the
topline and movement of 1.

Maud & Cooch’s Gnobulls Funk Odyssey. Red &
white dog in super condition. Good head properties with
well placed dark eyes and a strong blocky muzzle housing
a good bite. He has a well boned, good front with well
padded neat feet. He has enough brisket and forechest
and is well ribbed. His rear quarters are hard to the
touch, would have liked a little more bend of stifle. He
has a level topline which is maintained on the move.
Moved Ok. His fittest level and muzzle strength took him
through to be my Best Dog & BOB

-
Woollett’s Ashstock Red Miller. This standard
sized red dog is strong
headed with clean muzzle and
good
dentition. He has enough bone,
brisket and rib. He is short enough in his back and
coupling. Moves better behind than in front. Well set
tail. Presented in good condition.
-
Birbeck’s Janikastco Jumpin Jak Flash. Compact,
red with black mask. He has neat ears, good strength to
muzzle though not as clean in foreface as winner. He has
a muscular neck and is short backed with well boned legs
and padded feet. Good rear angulations with good muscle
tone. Again moves well behind but front movement wasn’t
as good as winner.

Williams’ Bellajazz Annalisa. Dark brindle puppy
with the neatest rose ears, set correctly, which just
enhance her expression. Dark eye and strong muzzle. with
strong underjaw. Feet need to tighten a little, enough
rib and brisket for age. In gleaming coat condition.
Loses topline on the move but hopefully this will
improve as she matures. BPIB
-
Partlett’s Janikastco Miss Hellfyre of
Starolestaff. Red with nice head shape for age, good
bone, feet and rib. Short coupled with good rear

-
Hyde’s Sedgbred Beacon Baroness. Bl /br, clean
headed with neat ears. Straight front with enough
brisket and rib. Looked to be carrying a little ‘extra’
in the loin when viewed from above. Level topline and
good bend of stifle, carried herself well on the move.
-
Bedford’s Pitstar’s Pure Poison At Smokemont.
Strong, topsize bl/br , she possesses
good strength to her muzzle and
a good bite, deep stop with good eye and ear placement.
She has ample rib and brisket, short coupled with well
toned rear quarters. Needs a little more animation on
the move. She was just a little too much for me.

-
Woollett’s Aymstaff Magic Flame. Red smut,
strong feminine head with correct skull to muzzle ratio,
good dentition. Straight front with well boned legs on
tight feet. A little overloaded on the shoulders, ample
rib and brisket. Well turned out. Moves well behind.
Credit where credit is due, this bitch was the fittest
of the day and it’s a shame many more weren’t in her
condition because it may have made my decisions a little
bit harder to make!!
-
Owen’s Tommy’s Sweet Lass. Bl/br carrying a few
pounds to many which gives the impression of her being
under headed. She has a clean head with good ear and eye
placement. Straight front with enough bone, level
topline , moved ok.

-
Turner’s Trawden Snowball. White with red
markings, clean foreface with good muzzle strength, eyes
as black as coal set well in skull, distinct stop with
neat ears. Straight front with enough bone, nails need
attention. Would like a tad more width of chest. She has
good depth to her brisket and good rib. Still showing
signs from her maternal duties but is in decent nick.
Moved well both ways holding her topline.

1.
Johnson &
Brown’s Tusselstaff Little Cracker. Nicely balanced bl/br bitch who I
have judged before as a junior. She is strong without losing her
femininity, she has pronounced head and cheek muscles. Dark round eye
and well set ears. Short neck leading into good shoulder placement. Her
front is spot on, good bone and tight neat feet. Ample rib and brisket,
level topline held on the move. Toned rear quarters, moved ok. Wish she
had more ring presence, gives the impression she is one reluctant
showgirl!! Best Bitch
2.
Martin’s
Lisas Lucky Lass At Alvis. Red/white who I have always liked from
ringside. Not as strong as 1 but she has a clean head and muzzle with
good eye/ear placement. Good bone and feet, level topline, well ribbed
and short coupled. Good bend of stifle with well toned rear quarters.
Moved well behind but could not compete with winner in front.
