Thank you for the invite to judge Parson Russells at this show, I was absolutely thrilled with the number of entries and I had a lovely selection of dogs. I had a wonderful day.

PUPPY (6,3)

1st - Manson’s Foxfur Hell Fire

A lovely 10 month old tan and white bitch in good coat. Nice wedge shaped head and correct bite, well muscled with good rear angulation. Spannable, moved well and carried tail well on the move. Very close between her and BP.

2nd - Krimmel’s Draygoto Vienna

A cheerful 9 month old tan and white bitch. Good thick coat and wedge shaped head with a keen expression. Correct bite. Spannable, and moved freely.

JUNIOR (3,1)

1st - Lynch’s Mr Marvellous

A handsome 9 month old dog, very well muscled with a harsh coat. Lovely wedge shaped head with correct bite. Spannable with ribs carried well back, and good rear angulation. Moved with drive, and carried tail well. BEST PUPPY

2nd - Levitt’s Proveits White Sally

A nice 14 month old white bitch with a lovely expression. Good wedge shaped head with correct bite. Spannable and well muscled, with a thick harsh coat. Good rear angulation, moved well and carried tail gaily.

POST GRADUATE (6,1)

1st - Newport’s Digaden Matchmaker

A feminine, 22 month old tri bitch with a pleasing appearance. Lovely wedge shaped head with an attentive expression and correct bite. Nice outline with a harsh coat. Spannable and well muscled. Lovely rear angulation. Moved with purpose and carried tail well. Very mature and definitely an eye-catcher. BEST OF BREED

2nd - Jones’ Chadbrook Enhance The Dance

A lovely 4 year old bitch. Nice outline with a harsh coat. Good wedge shaped head with dark eyes and correct bite. Spannable. Good rear angulation and moved well. Shoulders slightly broader than 1.

1st - Bigland’s Heythrop Taranna

A 2 year old tri bitch. Good wedge shaped head with correct bite. Lovely outline with a kind face. Spannable. Well muscled and moved purposefully once settled. There wasn’t much between her and best of breed. RESERVE BEST OF BREED.

2nd - Newport’s CH Digaden Tip Top JW

A smooth 5 year old bitch with a lovely outline and a thick coat. Good wedge shaped head with dark eyes. Spannable and well muscled. Good tail set and rear angulation. Moved well but seemed a little unsettled on the day.
