West Midland Terrier Society – November 2019

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the West Midland Terrier Society for inviting me to judge this show today; I was very impressed with the friendly, relaxed atmosphere and very well organised reception that met me on my arrival. Many thanks also go to the Stewards who were very helpful and obliging and last, but not least, thank you to the Exhibitors for their wonderful entries; it was a great pleasure to go over some lovely dogs.

1st Hayes’ Ragus Fabulous Clown ShCm, nice ‘typey’ red dog. Good head and expression with dark eye. I would have liked a little more neck, however, he kept his topline on the move. Would prefer to see a little more rear angulation but moved ok.

2nd Hayes’ Ragus Seven Jumps JW, nice head with a good eye, ‘typey’ bitch with good bone and nice angulation behind. Presented in good coat. Did not seem to be showing herself off today, which was a shame. She was a little hormonal due to a forthcoming event.
