MANCHESTER TERRIER: I would like to thank the committee of the West Midlands Terrier Club for your invitation to judge and the warm welcome I received. Thank you for a super entry with some outstanding exhibits. Some close decisions on the day. All exhibits were presented in superb condition. All had good markings with the rich tan and thumbprints which for me is makes out breed so stunning.

P (1) 1. Judges Harliboo Pretty in Pink at Ysabelkid 11 month old feminine bitch, well schooled for a puppy. Up to size with still a lot of maturing to do before she is finished. Rich tan marking, good pencilling and thumbprints and a super glossy coat. Head long and flat, ears still to settle but used them well. Nice almond shaped eye and sweet expression. She was very settled on the move, producing very positive movement. Best Puppy

J (2,1) 1. Churchs Rattustrap Fade to Black (AI) 17 month old elegant bitch who really caught my eye. She is so feminine and perfect for size. Lovely tan markings, pencilling and thumbprints. Has the best of heads long flat skull and so well filled under her almond shaped eyes although I would prefer them a little darker. Super ears, held well. Her neck is beautifully arched at the crest leading into well sloped shoulders and straight front. Well bent stifles allowed her to drive round the ring with great purpose. RBOB

O (7,4) 1. Knights Ch Talanors Typically Special Super feminine bitch who for me fits the standard so well. Love her size and compactness. Rich tan markings with correct pencilling and thumbprints and well conditioned coat. Head is strong and wedged with a super dark sparkling eye. Small ears held well and used to advantage. Her front is narrow and deep and she has a lovely spring of rib and nice rise over loin. Her tail is carried well. When asked to move she was straight and balanced with excellent reach and drive. I was pleased to see she made the final cut in a very strong terrier group BOB 2. Walkers Ch Talanors Treat Me Good at Sizlin Another lovely bitch, elegant, compact and well balanced. I would just prefer a little bit more of her all round. Super rich tan and gleaming coat. Lovely head and small v shaped ear carried well, nice expression. Super front, short body and good cut up. Lovely spring of rib and desired rise over loin. Tail well carried. Moved out straight and true but not quite so positive in movement today. 3. Straughan and Cripps Talanors In for a Treat
