Thank you for the invitation to judge at this show and for a lovely entry. All dogs were presented in a tidy fashion with clean, correct dentition, trimmed nails, glossy coats and well-muscled.

Junior (2) 1 Hough’s Barleydust Harvest Moon – dog of correct size, good wedge-shaped head with dark eye. Ear set and carriage could be a little better. Nice length of neck, depth of chest and tuck-up. Correct rise over loin and bend of stifle on standing. Unfortunately a little erratic on the move. 2 Beevers and Scott’s Rattustrap Red Feather – 11months old bitch who, in profile, has a well proportioned overall shape with a lovely strong, feminine head, and used ears well. Again moved a little erratically. BP.

Post Graduate (3) 1 Geraghty’s Mojero Bowmore – a compact, balanced dog who decided to show to his best today. Strong head, good front assembly, has depth of chest, nice tuck-up and rise over loin. Movement could be neater but has power going forward. 2 Saxon Bovill and Dale’s Rattustrap Maid Marian – a bitch with appealing overall shape on standing but have seen her move better. Strong but feminine head with dark eye and good ear carriage, good front and rear angulation. 3 Fitch;s Westwytch Iron Lady.

Open (3) 1 Harrison’s Magpiebank Ash , this dog just keeps on improving as he matures! Up to size but well balanced. Good strong head with powerful jaw, wicked dark eye and correct ear placement. Good length of neck leading to well angled shoulder. Straight when viewed from the front. Correct topline which he held on the move. Well bent stifle which gave him drive on the move. BOB 2 Fitch’s Westwytch Calico Cadeau – For a dog of nearing 11 years he can still move straight and true. Lighter in bone than 1 but has a nice masculine head, correct, well-held topline and good angulation. Forgave a little breaching. RBOB. 3 Harrison’s Sophyla Sophie.
