Thank you to the committee of the West Midlands Terrier Club for the invitation to judge at their Open Show. A great venue and the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly.  A small entry so thank you to the exhibitors who made the journey.

Puppy.

1st- Davani and Potts Kebulak King of Swing.

10 and a half months old and all male. Typical puppy exuberance and clearly enjoying his day. Striking in outline. Correct dentition and clean head. Very good length of neck into sloping shoulders. Good depth of forechest for his age. Well ribbed back and short coupled. Strong rear end with angulation that balanced the front. Tail set correct. Coat texture as required by the standard….soft, silky and wavy. Should become denser with maturity. Colour change evident by the brownish tinge, especially in the legs. The coat is such an important feature of our breed and it’s great to see it isn’t being lost. Movement in profile showed reach and drive but naturally a little loose at his age. Best of Breed and Best Puppy.

Open.

1st- J.O’Rourke’s Kebulak Desire on Fire.

Feminine girl of almost 4 years old. Excellent bite with very dark pigmentation. Dark eye and feminine head. Good angulation fore and aft with lovely coat colour. She was carrying a lot of coat which didn’t show her outline to best advantage. On the move she was a little unsettled which made it difficult to assess her properly.Lovely temperament. Reserve Best of Breed.
