I would like to thank the officers and committee for their invitation to judge at the show.   The hospitality received was much appreciated, and the day was one I really enjoyed.  It was lovely to see such a good entry for the show as a whole, my thanks to my two capable stewards, who kept things moving along nicely. Thanks also to the exhibitors who did me the honour and privilege of going over their dogs and accepting my decisions in a sporting manner.  All exhibits were of good quality and fit for purpose. As to be expected at this time of year, coats were at various stages.   I was delighted with my entry.

Puppy 5 (2 abs)

1st Jones Perfect Love Di Sutri At Laserna (imp Ita) just 7 mths, this puppy bitch caught my eye on entering, lovely femmine bitch with a good head and body. With a nice dark eye and keen expression, well set ears with a good reach of neck and well laid shoulders. With a lovely straight front and enough bone. Good in rib and spanned easily, with a good coat and pelt. Good angulations enabling her to move with drive. BP

2nd O’Connor Helenda Havoc 11 mth, another quality bitch who pushed hard for 1st place, with a good head and dark eye, well placed ears, in good harsh coat and good pelt. Good to span, with a pleasing top line and tail set, moved well.

3rd Thornley Locheil Stop Right There, 9 mths

Junior 2

1st Lane-Ridyard Kulawand Hot Chilli Pepper 14 mths femmine headed youngster nice flat skull and defined stop, strong muzzle with big teeth, excellent top line and good conformation. Good angulations which gave lovely free movement covering the ground well.

2nd Thornley Locheil Stop Right There, 9 mths old masculine headed dog, 3rd in previous class. Dark eye and good ear set, correct dentition, well laid shoulder, good span. Nice front and rear angles movement ok not as good as winner today.

Post Graduate 7 (2abs)

1st Lane & Lane-Ridyard Kulawand Hot Spice 14 mth lovely feminine bitch of good proportions, lovely dark eye with good ear set. Good bone and tight feet. Moved soundly, keeping her top line on the move, with good tail set, well presented. RBOB

2nd Bowden Locheil Willie Wagtail to Chellowside 2 yr old dog of nice size and type, good in head, shoulders well laid, nice front angulations with well muscled hind quarters. Stifles well bent with low set hocks. Good top line & tail set. Pushed hard for 1st place
