GLEN OF IMAAL TERRIER

Thank you West Midland Terrier Society for my invitation to judge Glen of Imaal Terriers and exhibitors for your support. The superb condition and temperament of the dogs was a credit to their owners.

Junior – (1) Hardy’s Bonny Nell, stood alone, 14 months quality blue brindle bitch, very well presented. Has it all - ample bone, excellent head complete with scissor bite, I loved her balance, proportions and super topline. Still a baby, should mature into something special. Outgunned today by the two big guys.

Post Graduate - (0)

Open – (2) 1st Withers’ Pajantick Star Trooper, 3 year wheaten male. Very impressive dog, superb head and expression with a broad skull, strong foreface and very good ear carriage. Well boned of great substance throughout. He has an excellent bowed front, wide muscular shoulders leading to well turned powerful hindquarters. Shown in full harsh coat, a very eyecatching young dog. I preferred his movement and ring presence over dog no. 2 BOB

2nd Hardy’s Amhard High Flyer. 2 year wheaten male, if musculature was the only criteria this young male would be unbeatable. Lean and fit, shorter coated than 1 he possesses similar attributes. Super head with good width of skull and scissor bite, impressive bone, broad muscular shoulders, well sprung ribs and well developed quarters with hard muscle over loin. A promising youngster, just lost out to my no. 1 dog. RBOB
