BEST PUPPY DANDIROYAL SOPHIE
OWNED BY MISS S M ROLLAND |
West Midlands Terrier Society Dandie Dinmont Terriers What a super show! The Committee and all those involved go out of their way to ensure that everyone has a great experience. I enjoyed it previously as an exhibitor and found it incredibly good as a judge. My thanks to the Committee for inviting me; to my Ring Stewards who were brilliant; to the lovely lady who looked after the judges and finally for the personalised, hand-written Christmas Card I found in my Judges’ pack. What a great advert for Open Shows! Finally, I must thank all the exhibitors who gave me a super entry making choices difficult. Overall, teeth were good and movement sound. Junior: (5,2) 1 Drake’s Tollcross Tartan Tavish. This pepper boy was a pleasure to go over. He had the length and outline I was looking for; a lovely head and expression; super neck, front and shoulders; well-boned legs with good depth of rib; nice tail-set and a crisp jacket. 2 Rolland’s Dandiroyal Sophie. A lovely weaselly, gleaming pepper girl. She oozes character, has a lovely expression, good head, well-angulated with a pleasing front and moved with impulsion from the rear. Very close between 1 & 2. (BP) PG (1,2) 1 Booth’s Lannia Jacasta. A girl with a sweet expression, lovely thin ears, long, low body with a flowing topline and a super mustard coat. O (8,3) 1 Kurg’s Hawkesmill Jefferson at Etsill. A pepper boy who catches the eye and doesn’t disappoint on the table. Strong head with a dark eye, lovely front, well-angulated fore and aft, well-boned legs, good depth of rib and a gently curving topline. Moved out well. (BoB). 2 Rolland’s Dandiroyal Puddleglum. Another long, weaselly pepper girl who presented a pleasing picture on the move. Good head, strong bone, well-angulated; correct length of rib to loin and in super coat. (RBoB). Sue Bell |
