Critique for Cairn Terriers,
West Midland Terrier Society Open Show, held on Saturday the 15th November 2008.
Judge Miss A Firth (Cairngold).
Class 22, Junior Dog/Bitch, 2 entries, no absentees.
1st number 38. Miss H & Mrs K Downie & Tate's -Jaeva Face The Music, Breeder Mr M Phillips.
A lovely, ten month old grey brindle dog of nice size. Very attractive head with correct ear placement and a good short muzzle and definite stop. Moved well behind and maintained topline on the move. Trimmed very well, and although he could do with a little more body, this can be forgiven for such a young specimen, and this will undoubtedly develop with time. A very striking specimen, showed to perfection, deserving BOB and BP.
2nd number 37. Mrs V Byrne's -Little Miss Tonka, Breeder Miss S Clayton.
An eleven month old wheaten female in good coat. Good topline, maintained well. Good scissor bite with nice large teeth. Well coloured and shaped eye, correctly set. A good specimen overall, she didn't show as well as she could have. Reserve Best of Breed.
