Cairn Terrier

Class 29 Puppy (2 entered, 0 absent)

1st Keeves’ Seveek Cherrys Dream, Best Puppy, 11 month old wheaten brindle bitch. Well balanced, very feminine throughout. Beautiful almond shaped eye, deep stop and correct scissor bite. Good bone.  She gave her handler a hard time, but movement was sound when she eventually took a few settled steps.

2nd Kinchin’s Pennidazzle Dream Of Dreams, 8 month old bitch. Dark brindle, with ample coat.  Dark almond shaped eyes that created a feminine melting expression. Correct scissor bite. Good bone, well developed muscle tone in back legs and lovely small feet.  A close decision between the two, as they are both beautiful, but overall I preferred the balance and maturity of 1.

Class 30 Junior (0 entered, 0 absent)

Class 31 Post Graduate (2 entered, 1 absent)

1st Keeves’ Seveek With Corynthean Sharing Dreams. RBOB. Feminine wheaten bitch. Well furnished head, correct ear set and dark almond eyes, scissor bite. Held topline on the move and movement was with drive when settled.

Class 32 Open (4 entered, 1 absent)

1st Day’s Tribannon Chocolate Chip At Trekhilli, BOB. Dark brindle male, presenting a balanced outline.  Well presented, in good coat. Head of correct proportions, with a large scissor bite. Correct angulation, both front and rear, deep chest, good spring of rib, tail set well on, topline held on the move and moved with drive.  Although a little large in size a lot to like. Went on to be short listed in the group.

2nd Keeves’ Seveek Treasure The Dream. Wheaten male. Balanced and presented with harsh double coat. Correctly shaped beautiful dark eye, large scissor bite, correct ear placement. Small neat feet. Rear movement not its best today.

3rd Kinchin’s Carradine Ruby Tuesday At Pennidazzle. I was delighted to see this 8 year old bitch. Dark grey with silver markings, shown in excellent coat.  Large scissor bite, correct ear placement, dark eye. Correct shoulder angulation.  When viewed from behind she had the best rear movement of the day. Wagged her tail constantly.
