Thank you to the committee for the invitation, and the exhibitors for their entries. There were some dogs of real quality and it was a pleasure to judge.

Border Terrier PD(3,2) 1 Peacock’s Ragatam Master Dreamer, 7 month old puppy showing promise. Strong head, good strength and length to muzzle, pleasing length of neck, okay in shoulder, nicely balanced. Good topline and tailset, good for size and comfortably spanned BPD

JD (2,1) 1 Yeates’ Bluebabel Border Song, 14 month old dog that stood alone but very worthy of his place. Good size and spannable, good amount of bone but not coarse. Strong head with good eye and expression, pleasing length neck leading to well laid shoulder. Straight legs with correct feet. Good ribbing, and topline. Nice coat with thick pelt. RBD 

OD (3) 1 Dean’s Cedarhill Melt in the Mouth, nearly six year old dog in excellent condition. Very good to go over and comfortably spanned. Typical head with good eye and ear, excellent neck and well made front. Good topline and tailset, hindquarters to match his front. Very good feet, sound mover. In enough coat to show some texture and good pelt BOB. 2 Swain’s Weststar Lone Ranger at Ardenholm, 5 year old dog that is a touch larger all through than class winner but still spannable. Quality head, with good neck, front and good hindquarters. Moves well. 3 Gwilliam’s Fisherbloom Don’t Stop Me Now At Louajak 

PB (4,1) 1 Peacock’s Ragatam Daydreamer, 7 month old of lovely size. Attractive head, excellent neck and well constructed front. Good ribbing , narrow, good topline and tailset. Straight legs, small tight feet. Well made hindquarters, sound mover BP 2 Dawson’s Morley‘s Miss Zeva, nearly 12 month old. Nicely balanced youngster of very good size, very good through body and turned out in good coat with thick pelt. Narrow, straight front good feet. 3 Lings’ Raedwulf Moonbeam 

JB (3,1) 1 Dawson’s Morley‘s Miss Zeva. 2 Lings’ Raedwulf Moonbeam, 10 month old that is not quite as up together as the winner but still much to like. Pleasing head with a good expression, okay for neck, good return of upperarm, spannable. Very well presented and in good condition. 

PGB (7,1) 1st Symons’ Olliesorchids Vintage Fizz, 19 month old that stood away in this class. Excellent size, comfortably spanned, in good coat and condition. Lovely neck and well laid shoulder, good through body, balanced. Pleasing length with firm topline and good tailset. Good mover RBOB. 2 Swain’s Borderrush Clementine for Ardenholm, another not long out of junior. Okay for size, in good coat. Attractive feminine head and expression. Good neck and front, standing on lovely feet. Moved well when settled in to her stride. RBB
