I would like to thank the officers and committee for their invitation to judge at the show.   The hospitality received was much appreciated, and the day was one I really enjoyed.  It was lovely to see such a good entry for the show as a whole, my thanks to my two capable stewards, who kept things moving along nicely. Thanks also to the exhibitors who did me the honour and privilege of going over their dogs and accepting my decisions in a sporting manner.  All exhibits were of good quality and fit for purpose. As to be expected at this time of year, coats were at various stages.   I was delighted with my entry.

1st Baldwin Woolytop The Piper’s Son, 8 mth old liver dog, lovely puppy of nice size for age, with the correct wedge shaped head, elegant neck and good shoulders, correct rise over loin, with a well presented coat of a dense and linty texture, won on his movement today. BPIB

2nd Pedersen Trurich Summer Dream, 7 mth blue bitch with a beautiful head and expression, correct ear carriage and placement, good reach of neck in to well laid shoulders. Another promising baby, moved well for her age.

3rd Baldwin Woolytop Stand and Deliver

Junior 1

1st Baldwin Woolytop Stand and Deliver, 8 mth dog Litter brother to Puppy class winner and 3rd in that class. Nice puppy of correct size, with a good head and top knott, good length of neck, with good rise over the loin. Coat of the correct linty texture, with a nice horseshoe front and moved much better in this class.

Post Graduate 2

1st Middlebrook Poppyblu Elara, 2 half yr old blue bitch who appeals for size, well balanced, with a feminine head and soft expression, lovely thin ears, nice outline, correct front with good legs and feet, good depth of chest. Movement was with a light easy action. Well presented.

2nd Baldwin Woolytop Lavender Girl, 2yr old bitch nice head and expression, lovely thin ears, good front, legs and feet, big strong teeth. Good in shoulders, with a good depth of chest, good in outline. With moderate hind angulations moved ok.

Open 4 (1abs)

1st Bannister Miteymidgets Love in Bloom JW, 5 yr old blue bitch with lovely feminine head and expression with a correct bite with well placed thin ears. Lovely elegant neck leading into good shoulders. Good in rib with ample depth to chest, good rise over loin and tuck up. Well muscled, angulated hindquarters. She covered the ground well with the correct mincing movement, so typical of the breed. BOB

2nd Offer WoolytopThe Wherryman ShCM, well presented 2 yr old dog with a nice head and expression, good strong teeth, lovely thin ears, nice outline, good front, good depth to chest. Good angulations, moved soundly. RBOB
